ALRB-300 is a high-precision automated production line designed for efficient cross-cutting and trimming of logs to specified dimensions—from 1 to 3 meters. This system ensures precise cross-cuts with minimal error, minimizes waste, increases overall productivity in wood processing facilities, and enables integration with downstream processing. The ALRB-300 is ideal for manufacturers of pallets, wooden packaging, furniture blanks, joinery, and lumber, where precision and raw material efficiency are key.

ALRB-300 operating principle:

  • Logs are loaded onto a driven trestle. A disconnector feeds them one at a time. A chain-driven tilter rotates the log and moves it through the trimming unit onto the drive table.

  • The operator presets movable marks to the desired size (1–3 m). When the log end crosses the optical sensor of the selected mark, the log automatically stops.

  • Pressing a single button starts the complete cycle: the log is clamped by asymmetrical clamps → the saw cuts in a reciprocating motion → the saw returns → the clamps open.

  • The finished workpiece exits.

Line composition:

The ALRB-300 flow line is designed using a modular principle, ensuring logical and continuous log processing from loading to the output of finished logs. Here are the main system components in the order of log flow:

  • Driven ramp: A platform for accumulating and automatically loading logs.
  • Log separator: A module for separating individual logs from a bundle. Operates automatically, determining the moment to feed the next log.
  • Tilter combined with chain pusher: A unit for rotating the log to the optimal position and moving it for subsequent cross-cutting.
  • Cutting (cross-cutting) unit: The main cutting unit with a circular saw, where the log is securely clamped with pliers and cut.
  • Driven table with marking area: A module for precise positioning and length control. Equipped with two movable marking carriages.

All modules are synchronized via a central control panel with a joystick, monitor, remote camera, and radio remote control. The line can be easily integrated with UPT-250 or UPT-280 series machines for full in-line processing.
