The LPU-900 band sawmill is designed for sawing round timber into high-quality edged and unedged lumber. The LPU-900 is a modernized serial continuation of the line of sawmills of the previous generation LPU-600 and LPU-750. The design of the sawmill has a number of original technical solutions that have no analogues either in Russia or abroad. Advantages and differences:
The track of the sawmill consists of a 120 mm channel with a guide made of a calibrated 19 mm hexagon. This combination provides high wear resistance and easy movement of the carriage along the guides.
Cast iron wheels with a diameter of 600 mm allow you to install band saw blades with a width of 35 to 51 mm.
Each wheel has two double-row roller bearings with a large load-bearing capacity and a long service life
The LPU-900 drive belt transmission is located outside the belt web operating area, which eliminates the possibility of coolant and sawdust getting onto the working belts
A reliable belt tensioning system - a screw-nut plus a damper hydraulic cylinder with a vibration-resistant pressure gauge allows stable operation in any temperature conditions.
The sawmill delivery set includes two manual tilters (hook).
The width and height of the saw beam cut allow cutting logs up to 900 mm in diameter.
The band sawmill is equipped with a rotary carriage stand, allowing you to change the cutting angle from -15 to + 15 degrees. The variable cutting angle optimizes the sawmill's operation on different types of wood.
The workpiece is positioned on the work table using chain tilters and retractable roller tables.
The carriage lifting and lowering drive is equipped with an electromechanical drum for precise automatic movement to a specified size.
The main engine is equipped with a soft start system
The digital power indicator allows you to monitor the load on the main engine of the sawmill.
The sawmill is equipped with a powerful green laser pointer of the cut, projecting a line 6 meters long. The laser pointer is equipped with a heating system, allowing operation at temperatures down to -25 C0, the laser eyepiece has protection from sawdust.
For work in the dark or in poor lighting conditions, the sawmill is equipped with LED spotlights and a backlight of the dimension ruler.
For more convenient work in winter, a heating system is installed in the handle of the sawmill.
