The machine for processing fine gauge UPT-250S and UPT-250M is equipped with a two-shaft disk sawing system. The thickness and number of boards that the operator plans to receive is determined by the number of saw blades and the thickness of the inter-disk spacers. The blade of the disc is made of high-quality rolled steel, with carbide plates soldered to the teeth. Saw blades have cleaning knives that remove lint from the surface of boards or timber. In the spaces between the main teeth there are sump teeth; they are designed to more effectively remove sawdust from the cutting zone.
The saw blade has the following designation: 250x50x3.2/2.2/(18z+18)+4, where
250 is the outer diameter, mm
50 is the mounting hole, mm
3.2 - thickness of carbide brazing, mm
2.2 - thickness of blade, mm
18z - number of main teeth
18 - number of auxiliary teeth (sump teeth)
4 - number of cleaning knives
As standard, the UPT-250S machine is equipped with 6 pairs of saw blades; a maximum of 9 pairs of blades can be installed. Saw blades are the main consumable tool that needs to be sharpened on time. To ensure that the machine does not remain idle during tool maintenance, we recommend purchasing spare saw blades.
